Dangote Petroleum Refinery has increased the gantry price of petrol from N699 to N799 per litre, effective immediately. MRS retail outlets will now sell petrol at N839 per litre, up from N739 per litre. This price adjustment follows the end of the festive season, with the refinery citing the need for sustainable pricing to support market stability and affordability.

The refinery had previously implemented a temporary price support intervention to cushion Nigerians during the holidays, absorbing significant costs in the process. Despite this, many filling stations failed to pass on the benefits to consumers. The refinery reaffirms its commitment to energy security, price stability, and long-term value for Nigerians.

Dangote Refinery currently supplies approximately 50 million litres of petrol daily to the domestic market, with nationwide distribution operating normally.
