The Iyaloja-General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Abeo Nurudeen, has led market leaders on a thank-you visit to Otunba Seye Famojuro, pledging to promote unity, peaceful coexistence and cooperation among traders across the state’s 33 local government areas.
The visit was aimed at expressing appreciation for the support received by the market leadership and reinforcing efforts to strengthen relationships among traders, artisans and other stakeholders in Oyo State.
Princess Abeo’s pledge comes as the state moves to consolidate its market leadership structure following the confirmation of her appointment as Iyaloja-General by Governor Seyi Makinde. The appointment is expected to strengthen coordination among market associations and promote a more unified trading community.
The new Iyaloja-General has consistently emphasised the importance of reconciliation and collective progress, urging market leaders to put aside their differences and work together for the benefit of traders throughout the state.
