President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently in a closed-door meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs at the Presidential Villa, State House, Abuja.
The agenda remains unconfirmed but is likely tied to bolstering Nigeria’s security framework, following recent leadership shake-ups in the armed forces.

Attendees include Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Army Staff Major General Waidi Shaibu, Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Aneke, and Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Idi Abbas.
This comes after Tinubu’s Friday approvals: Oluyede as CDS replacing General Christopher Musa; Shaibu as Army Chief; Aneke as Air Chief; Abbas as Naval Chief; and Major-General E.A.P. Undiendeye retaining Defence Intelligence role.
The changes aim to inject professionalism and efficiency into the military.
